HTPMarket team reviewing financial forecasts together

About HTPMarket

Built for the way independent work actually earns money

HTPMarket exists to give freelancers, contractors, and sole traders a clearer view of their own cash flow — before the numbers become a problem.

Our starting point

Irregular income deserves better tools

Most financial software is designed around the assumption of a fixed monthly salary. Independent professionals rarely work that way. Invoices land late, projects overlap, and quiet months follow busy ones without warning. HTPMarket was created to close that gap — building a way for self-employed people to see further ahead, plan with more confidence, and stop reacting to their bank balance after the fact.

Our approach

Forecasting, not just tracking

We didn't want to build another expense tracker. Plenty of those exist. What was missing was a way to look forward — to model how upcoming work, pending invoices, and recurring costs actually play out over the coming weeks and months.

Everything we build starts from that principle: the value isn't in recording what already happened, it's in helping someone make a better decision today because they can see tomorrow more clearly.

What guides us

The values behind the product

01

Clarity over complexity

Financial tools should reduce confusion, not add to it. We favour plain language and clear numbers over jargon and clutter.

02

Realistic assumptions

Income that varies week to week deserves forecasts that account for that variability, not projections built on averages alone.

03

Respect for independence

We build for people who chose to work for themselves. Our tools support that choice rather than forcing it into a corporate mould.

04

Steady improvement

We treat the platform as a long-term project, refined gradually in response to how it's actually used, not rushed for its own sake.

Our team

A small, focused group

HTPMarket is built by a small team with a shared interest in financial planning and independent work. We split our time between designing the platform, refining how it models cash flow, and listening to the people who rely on it day to day. It's a deliberately close-knit way of working — one that keeps decisions grounded in what actually helps, rather than what looks impressive on a feature list.

Where we're headed

Our focus stays narrow on purpose: better forecasting for people whose income doesn't arrive on a fixed schedule. We'd rather do that one thing well than spread thin across every financial problem an independent professional might face.
